The 27th Annual BP Classic will take on a creole flare as we journey to the great state of Louisiana June 22 thru June 26. Experience the rich flavors of gumbo, etouffee, and jambalaya, spend a day fishing, or book a birding or swamp tour along the ecologically rich wetlands stretching out toward the Gulf of Mexico.
Join us in Houma, Louisana for the 2011 BP Classic where they showcase the region’s Cajun heritage and hospitality every day.

Volunteer Day Project #1 – Jim Bowie Park, 940 Bayou Black Dr., Houma, LA 70360 | Google Directions Description: Beautification and playground build. Volunteers will build picnic tables, BBQ grills, plant flowerbeds and restore a butterfly garden. The project will benefit children across the parish. Project #2 – Barataria-Terrebonne National Estuary Program, Grand Isle, LA Description: Volunteers will take part in a hands-on restoration and rebuilding of a state treasure. Through planting live oaks and grasses along the beach, as well as constructing sand fences, volunteers will have the chance to help preserve Grand Isle State Park. Noon lunch served at Volunteer Day work sites |
